Tips for Using the "BOOKS" Search: Journals:

More about Journals

HCU Moody Library has many subscriptions for journals, magazines and newspapers

Many can be located in the Library Databases full-text. Other journals are found in the the library itself either on the Current Journal shelves, bound on the second floor, or on Microfiche or Microfilm. Librarians suggest you look for the periodical name in the "JOURNAL" search, found in the 9 boxes on the library homepage, first.  Make sure the library has the correct year, volume and issue needed.

If the journal is not found there, use the"Book" Search on the Library Homepage and click PERIODICAL.  Search the name of the Journal NOT the name of the needed article. Use the drop-down menu to select Periodical. Make sure the library has the correct year, volume and issue needed. The catalog may link to a database, online site, or give you the location of the periodical in the library.  Journals found in the library- not online- do not have a call number.  Look for the title of the journal alphabetically in the location designated by the library.
