If you do not have a DOI (Digital Object Identifier)....

You can use the box on the Left to find the URL for the Journal's Homepage online or find the URL via an Internet Search.

You can search the box in the Right to see if a DOI has been assigned to that article after it was published.

Don't have a DOI for your Journal Article? Search here to find the URL for the Journal's Publisher.

First check this Database for the URL; then try to find the publishers site on the internet.

DOIs (Digital Object Identifier)

DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) are used to identify digital materials uniquely and persistently. APA is now recommending that these numbers, when available, be included in citations to electronically retrieved articles. Many articles indexed in PsycINFO now include DOI numbers.  Here is an example of the use of a DOI number in a citation:
