Many students filter through the library and we've seen a sizeable run to to Google before even attempting to use the Library's databases. Google is an excellent resource to use, if used correctly and at the right time. Many use it badly wasting time and energy. Most people end up settling for less than quality results. The tips in this guide can help limit results to items more relevant and save time. NOTE: Searches in this guide are shown in square brackets for demonstration. Do not include them in your searches. The Library's databases and interface have advanced options to narrow searches and have been reviewed by living, breathing humans. We contend, however, that if you are going to use Google, please use it right. Use it better with more confidence after using these easy-to-understand tips.
