• GOOGLE SCHOLAR - Links to many books and articles.
• EPDF - A variety of books available for free downloading; but note that some may be infringing copyright.
• OXFORD ISLAMIC STUDIES ONLINE - You can get a free account with limited, but nevertheless useful, access.  The link on the title here is to a page of very useful resources.
• OPEN ACCESS DIGITAL THEOLOGICAL LIBRARY - A great place for finding open access resources.

University Digital Archives

Some universities have a digital archive of their theses and other research. These are great for seeing what has been produced, but vary as to how much can be accessed free.
