You are taking a class on the Vietnam War. You hear about the My Lai Masacre and find out that Lt. Calley was tried. You want to find this record of this trial. Using Lexis Nexis how do you locate this?

After opening Library Database called Lexis Nexis Academic-
1. Click on the U. S. Legal tab on the left. Note esp. in this case one must search for later information from law journals, journals and newspapers. Calley was released in the early 1970's.
2. Click on Federal and State Cases; this searches both Federal and State cases simultaneously.
3. In the Jurisdiction box pick Federal Military Courts. Calley is tried by the United States Army Court of Military....
4 In the search box. type in William L. Calley. Click Search. Check each hit and note the date. You should retrieve about 4 hits. One is 46 C.M.R. 1131

2. Click on Federal and State Cases; this searches both Federal and State cases simultaneously.
3. By Case Name type in the surname, Scott in the first box by the "v". In the second box on the other side of the "v" type in Sandford. Search.
4. On hit should be this:
