Important News

Moody Library is pleased to announce that we now have two outstanding resources to support academic research and writing.
1)  RefWorks Citation Manager. This is a tool to save all of your citations in one location. We have prepared a short tutorial to show you how it works and how to save book and article citations in both CloudSearch and our ProQuest Research Library database.

2) APA Academic Writer: This is APA’s all-inclusive digital resource for learning about the scholarly research and writing process, creating a formatted collection of references, writing papers, and citing references in APA Style®, and
putting into practice the guidelines from the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th ed.). We have prepared a short tutorial on Academic Style Writer to get you started.

Research Help Hours: You can reach librarians during the following hours: Monday: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. / Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. / Thursday: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. If you plan to do research over the weekend, please speak with a librarian during the week. Please call 281-649-3304 or email reference@hc.edu. You can also click the green chat button that takes you to our Moody Library Knowbot. There is an option under the Research, Books, and Article buttons to have a live chat where you can ask to speak with a librarian.
