The library's convenient laptop kiosk dispenser makes it easy for students to have a laptop without necessarily having to purchase one. The dispenser contains twelve (12) laptops. Use and regulations are on the LCD panel. Essentially, use your HCU ID and agree to the terms. Basic terms are the use of laptops in the library building only. Check out time is approximately three hours, which is about the life of the battery. No plugs required. Be sure to review all the terms before agreeing to the terms.
Instructions for use are on every laptop. Everything taps into the HCU cloud via the HCU Portal. This includes a full online Microsoft Office Suite. OneDrive has the capability of storing up to 1 terabyte of data. This eclipses Dropbox and Google Drive. Also, this is private cloud offering more security.
The kiosk is located on the first floor of the library next to the elevator.
