ABSTRACT:
I am going to be examining the effects of sports on athletes’ education that participate at the collegiate level. My research will be done at Houston Baptist University, a private Division I institution. The sample population will consist of student athletes from various sports, including basketball, track, football, and softball. My participants will be both male and female. Additionally, my survey will consist of only closed ended questions and will be answered anonymously. The questions asked will be based on four themes I found relevant to my research topic. I will draw conclusions from the data I receive and compare it to previous studies.
