5. Diet Pills

My research is about diet pills. Diet pills are very popular and companies promote it that if one takes a diet pill, one will instantly lose weight. Overweight people suffer the most because they are bullied or humiliated by other people. People do not know what ingredients does the pill have and that can be very serious. Heart failure or even death is some of the leading causes from not knowing what the pill has. The main focus of my research is how does it affect to high school and college students. For high school, the media, friends and even their families are pressuring them that being skinny would make them feel attractive. This leads to anorexia or bulimia. Along with high school students, college students face body weight issues. For college students, it is difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle because one does not have the time to balance between school, eating healthy and exercising. One should have the support of a family member or friend and encourage them to accept their own body and to ignore to the people that are harming their self-esteem. One does not need to take diet pills because with their hard work and confidence one can lose weight and not risking their lives.
